We received some emails by few users who wanted quick and simple solution to mass upload subtitles from their computers (and share it with others!). For this purpose
we developed Sublight.Uploader (~ 6 KB download size).
This handy tool can scan your disk and search for available subtitles. It then checks on server which subtitles should be uploaded and which not.
Process is fully automated and requires no user intervention (it even detects subtitle language!).
Current implementation is very picky and will select only those subtitles which reach certain confidence level defined on Sublight server.
Do not be upset if it does not upload all of your subtitles :) You can still use Sublight application to upload them manually.
Quick instructions:
- subtitles can be uploaded by users who do not have Sublight account ("Use built-in user" option) and those who have one (click "Enter my own..." option and enter your Sublight credentials),
- define intitial directory which is scanned for subtitles (manually enter directory or click "Browse..." button),
- click "Scan & Upload" button and wait until application finishes (reported by progress bar).
System requirements:
- .NET Framework 3.5 Client Profile or newer (already included in Windows 7),
- network connection
